Zia Hunts
The hunt was held at Vermejo Park Ranch and we stayed at the NRA Whittington Center near Raton NM. The accommodations were just great, we stayed in 5 bedroom cabins with a common kitchen and living room. There was plenty of wild game to be viewed on the Center. We were greeted by about 5 inches of snow when we arrived at the Whittington Center.

| The hunt started the morning of the 12 of December and 7 elk were taken that morning and the last two that evening.
National will probably put the hunt on again next year if you would be interested in attending please send your name into the Zia Chapter and I will send out applications when they send them out. |
